Click over to Gabrielle's blog Design Mom for this super fun tutorial on how to make monogrammed mugs with thrift store dishes and porcelain paint. This is actually a tutorial from last year that I saw a long time ago, but it just showed up on craftgawker today and I was reminded of it. We actually bought porcelain paint markers to do this project, but haven't gotten around to finding some porcelain dishes yet. I'm looking forward to when we do, though! For now, though, you all should do this and tell me how it goes.
